About NAFCA’s Business Activities

The Japan Anime Film Culture Federation (NAFCA) is a general incorporated association aimed at inheriting, developing, and promoting animation and its culture.

 

Human Resource Development Business

We aim to improve the technical standards within the industry, enhance the quality of work, and improve the treatment of employees
Animator Skills Certification

Policy Recommendations and Industry Hearings

To address various issues and promote further development in the anime industry, we will conduct industry hearings to gather insights and make policy recommendations based on them, as well as engage in enlightenment activities for the government.

Anime Archive Project

We will submit a request for cooperation and support from the government to prevent the dispersion of cel animation and paper-based intermediate materials, similar to the preservation efforts made for traditional ukiyo-e prints.

Anime Humanitarian Projects, Anime’s Social Utilization Projects

We will conduct hearings within the corporation to explore how anime can be utilized in healthcare, including confirming the rights related to this matter and exploring methods.

Anime Community Project

We will organize workshops and networking events for anime creators and voice actors, who have had limited interaction despite being in the same industry, to promote mutual understanding and aim for the improvement of anime quality.

Event Business

We will host events such as fan meetings, creative seminars, and workshops, focusing on building connections among attendees.
